A little bit about the owner-: Mandy Shedden

This business came about because after Covid and the effect it had on crafter's ability to shop on the high street , I became aware that many of my customers who visited my own high street shop, Keep in Crafting in Bury St Edmunds were left with very limited choice of where to buy quality materials once they were able to shop as they used to.

In addition, they missed the opportunity to craft with experienced people who shared their passion.

My own crafting journey started because after the birth of my brain-damaged son, I needed something to focus on and learning to be creative provided that.

I also did some voluntary work in a craft shop owned by a friend and, eventually I was able, with some  help from some friends  to open a new shop once the owner decided to focus on craft shows, rather than being in a shop.

In the five years that Keep on Crafting was open it was voted for by customers as one of the best independent shops in East Anglia every single year, winning that award 5 times in a row was amazing.

Many of my previous customers are now coming to this Website to shop for good quality materials and the love and support being shown to me has been fantastic.

Even though the selling is online, there is still that connection and the focus of the business is to provide all my customers with best service, high quality goods and advice.
